Taylor Swift’s 2026 deluxe edition of The Life of a Showgirl was subtitled The Encore.
The Encore was released on September 25, 2026, nearly a year after the standard album’s October 2025 debut. The subtitle extends the album’s stage-and-performance imagery, presenting the deluxe edition as a return after the main show has ended.
The edition was supported by the single “Patient Zero,” which was released in conjunction with The Encore. This makes “Patient Zero” distinct from the three principal singles associated with the standard album campaign.
The Encore should not be confused with the acoustic and commentary variants issued earlier. Those versions changed the presentation or added alternate recordings, while The Encore is identified as a later deluxe edition with its own subtitle.
