What street-football mode did FIFA 20 introduce to the main FIFA series?

FIFA 20 introduced Volta Football to the main FIFA series.

Released in 2019, FIFA 20 added Volta Football as a mode focused on small-sided street and futsal-inspired matches. It drew on the style of the separate FIFA Street games, which emphasized tricks, compact venues and informal football rather than full eleven-a-side stadium matches.

Volta Football included different match formats and locations around the world. Its story campaign followed a customizable player and presented street football as a global culture with its own communities and competitions.

The mode is sometimes confused with The Journey, FIFA’s earlier cinematic story mode, which centered on Alex Hunter and ended with FIFA 19. Volta Football replaced that kind of campaign in FIFA 20, while Ultimate Team and Career Mode remained separate major components of the game.
