Answer
Five-point star
Answer
Five-point star
A five-point star appeared at the center of the official United States Bicentennial logo.
The logo showed a white five-point star inside a stylized red, white, and blue star design. It was encircled by the words “American Revolution Bicentennial 1776–1976” in Helvetica lettering.
Bruce Blackburn designed the logo. He was also known for co-designing the modernized NASA insignia, commonly called the “worm” logo. The Bicentennial emblem appeared on government buildings, postage stamps, flags, and souvenirs.
The 1976 logo belongs to the earlier 200th-anniversary celebration, not the 2026 Semiquincentennial. Its design is still associated with the broader national commemoration of the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence.
