What ramen topping name means a seasoned boiled egg?

The story behind the answer

The ramen topping name that means a seasoned boiled egg is ajitsuke tamago.

In Japanese, 味付け卵 (ajitsuke tamago) literally means “seasoned egg.” The egg is usually soft-boiled, peeled, and marinated in a savory mixture based on soy sauce, often with mirin, sake, sugar, or dashi. The marinade seasons the white and gives the yolk a rich, jammy texture.

Diners may also see the shorter names ajitama or ajitsuke tamago, as well as nitamago. These terms can overlap in ramen menus, although nitamago more literally refers to a simmered or boiled egg. The topping is commonly halved before being placed on the noodles.

The other choices are different ramen ingredients: narutomaki is a fish cake with a pink spiral, takana-zuke is pickled mustard greens, and kikurage is wood ear mushroom. Ajitsuke tamago is also eaten in bento boxes, rice bowls, and as a snack.
