What power-up calls a large eagle to destroy structures?

The story behind the answer

The Mighty Eagle is the Angry Birds power-up that summons a large eagle to destroy structures. Rather than launching a normal bird from the slingshot, the player uses a can of sardines, after which the Mighty Eagle swoops through the level and wrecks the scenery.

The feature was introduced in the original game’s Ham ’Em High episode, which debuted in December 2010. At first, it could be used on an unfinished level roughly once per hour, making it a powerful rescue option when the standard flock could not clear the pigs.

On levels that had already been completed, the Mighty Eagle opened a separate challenge called Total Destruction. Players tried to destroy as much of the scenery as possible using the regular birds and the eagle. Reaching 100 percent destruction awarded a Mighty Eagle feather for that level.

The main mix-up is treating the Mighty Eagle as an ordinary member of the flock. It is better described as a special power-up or summon. Firebird, King Pig, and Super Copter are not the name of this original-game ability.
