What nickname does Amber Volakis receive during House M.D. season four?

Amber Volakis receives the nickname “Cutthroat Bitch” during House M.D. season four.

Amber is one of the doctors competing for a place on Gregory House's new diagnostic team. Her aggressive tactics, ambition, and willingness to eliminate rivals lead House and the other applicants to label her “Cutthroat Bitch.” The nickname reflects how she behaves in the competition rather than being her official job title.

Anne Dudek played Amber. Although House initially dismisses her as ruthless, the character develops a more complex relationship with James Wilson and becomes an important figure in the season-four finale and later storylines.

The phrase is often shortened by fans to “the Cutthroat Bitch,” but the canonical nickname is normally written with both words capitalized. Amber is also sometimes confused with Thirteen, Taub, or Kutner, who were selected for House's new team and had different story arcs.
