What is the type of the Generation VII Pokemon Drampa?

The Generation VII Pokémon Drampa is a dual-type Normal/Dragon Pokémon. It debuted in Pokémon Sun and Moon as Pokédex number 780, combining a relatively ordinary-looking Normal typing with the classic Dragon type.

Drampa is known as the Placid Pokémon and lives in mountainous areas far from human settlements. Its design resembles a long, serpentine dragon surrounded by cloud-like features, fitting its gentle appearance and its association with weather and the sky. Despite its calm personality, its Pokédex descriptions say it can become fierce when protecting children.

The Normal/Dragon combination has unusual battle implications. Normal typing gives Drampa immunity to Ghost-type attacks, while Dragon typing brings strengths against Dragon and other targets but also weaknesses to Ice, Fairy and Dragon moves. Its abilities can include Sap Sipper, Cloud Nine and Berserk, giving it different strategic roles depending on the game and moveset.
