What is the title of the Twin Peaks season-two finale?

The Twin Peaks season-two finale is titled “Beyond Life and Death.”

The episode is the 22nd and final episode of the original series’ second season. It was written by Mark Frost and Harley Peyton and directed by David Lynch. The story follows Dale Cooper into the mysterious Black Lodge, where the season’s supernatural and psychological conflicts reach a dramatic climax.

“Beyond Life and Death” originally aired on June 10, 1991. Its ending became one of television’s most discussed cliffhangers, leaving Cooper’s fate uncertain for many years before the 2017 revival continued the story.

The title is sometimes confused with names associated with the Black Lodge or with later revival episodes. It is the title of the original season-two finale, not the title of a separate film or book.
