What is the title of Stevie Wonder’s 1982 greatest-hits compilation?

The story behind the answer

Stevie Wonder’s Original Musiquarium I is his 1982 greatest-hits compilation.

Motown released the four-sided compilation in 1982. It brought together selected tracks from Wonder’s major albums of the 1970s, including Music of My Mind, Talking Book, Innervisions, Fulfillingness’ First Finale, and Songs in the Key of Life.

The collection also included four new songs: “That Girl,” “Front Line,” “Go Home,” and “Ribbon in the Sky.” This combination of established hits and new material helped make the set more than a simple retrospective.

The title is often shortened to Original Musiquarium. The Roman numeral I is part of the official title and distinguishes it from later compilations and career-spanning collections.
