Pokémon Snap
Answer
Pokémon Snap
Pokémon Snap is Pokémon's 1999 Nintendo 64 photography game.
Players control Todd Snap, who travels through Pokémon Island in the Zero-One, an amphibious vehicle moving along fixed routes. Instead of battling or capturing Pokémon, players photograph them for Professor Oak's Pokémon Report.
The game was developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo. It began as a non-Pokémon project called Jack and the Beanstalk before the team changed its focus to Pokémon photography.
Pokémon Snap launched in Japan on March 21, 1999, then reached North America on July 26, 1999. It featured 63 of the original 151 Pokémon and included seven courses, such as Beach, Tunnel, Volcano, River, Cave, Valley, and Rainbow Cloud. New Pokémon Snap followed for Nintendo Switch in 2021.
