What is the title of Metallica's first live album box set?

Metallica’s first live album box set is titled Live Shit: Binge & Purge. It was released on November 23, 1993, in an elaborate package combining live audio, concert video and memorabilia.

The original edition included three CDs documenting Metallica’s February and March 1993 concerts in Mexico City during the Nowhere Else to Roam tour. Its video material came from shows in San Diego during the Wherever We May Roam tour and Seattle during the Damaged Justice tour. The package originally used VHS tapes and also contained a photo booklet, backstage-pass replica and stencil.

The release followed the enormous success of the 1991 album Metallica, commonly called the Black Album. Rather than presenting a single concert, it captured different eras of the band’s live presentation, including material from the late 1980s and the early 1990s.

The title is sometimes styled as Live Sh*t: Binge & Purge, reflecting Metallica’s visual language. Quebec Magnetic, Cunning Stunts and S&M are separate live releases, not the band’s first live album box set.
