What is the tallest pyramid at the ancient Giza pyramid complex in Egypt?

The story behind the answer

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the tallest pyramid at Egypt's ancient Giza pyramid complex.

Also called the Pyramid of Khufu, it was built as the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty, around the 26th century BC. Its original height was approximately 146.6 metres, although erosion and the loss of its outer casing reduced its present height.

The pyramid was the tallest human-made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years. It is the oldest and largest of the three main pyramids at Giza, which also include those associated with Khafre and Menkaure.

The Great Pyramid is the only surviving member of the traditional Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its smooth white limestone casing largely disappeared over time, and the summit's original capstone is also missing.
