What is the release date of NBA 2K23?

NBA 2K23 was released on September 9, 2022. The standard release covered Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, NBA 2K23 was the 24th main installment in the series. It followed NBA 2K22 and arrived with Devin Booker on the standard-edition cover. Michael Jordan headlined special editions, while Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi appeared on the WNBA Edition.

The game also brought back the Jordan Challenge, which had last appeared in NBA 2K11. Its MyNBA mode added historical eras, including the 1983–84, 1991–92, and 2002–03 NBA seasons.

The October 18, 2022, date sometimes causes confusion: that was the release date for NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition on Apple Arcade, not the main console and Windows release.
