Valorant’s in-game currency used to purchase weapons during a match is Credits.
Players receive Credits based on the previous round’s result, whether they survived, and their performance-related bonuses. They spend them during the buy phase on weapons, shields, and abilities. Choosing when to save or spend this money is a central part of Valorant strategy.
Credits are different from Valorant Points, the premium currency purchased with real money and used mainly for cosmetic content such as weapon skins. They are also distinct from Radianite Points, which upgrade certain cosmetic effects, and Kingdom Credits, a later progression currency used for agents, agent gear, and accessories.
A common mix-up is answering “Points” because Valorant Points are associated with the game’s store. However, the money used to buy combat equipment inside a round is simply called Credits.
