The villain in Angry Birds Stella is Gale.
Gale is a dark-purple violet-backed starling and a former member of Stella's flock. In the game's story, she leaves her friends and becomes the queen of the minion pigs on Golden Island. Her selfishness and vanity drive the central conflict, especially after she steals Stella's map and photo album with the help of her pig army.
Gale is more than a generic pig-side antagonist. She was once Stella's friend, which gives their rivalry a personal history. Gale wants to find the Golden Egg, a valuable object she believes will bring her wealth and the respect of everyone on Golden Island. Her desire for status contrasts with Stella's loyalty to her friends.
Players sometimes confuse Gale with King Pig or Leonard because all three are associated with pig kingdoms in different Angry Birds stories. Gale, however, is a bird who rules the minion pigs in the Stella spin-off. She also appears in the animated Angry Birds Stella series, where she remains the former friend and principal antagonist. The game was released in 2014 and discontinued in 2015.
