The Muppet who loves performing stunts and has a hooked beak is Gonzo.
Often called Gonzo the Great, Gonzo is the Muppets' eccentric stunt performer and performance artist. His acts are intentionally dangerous, bizarre or impractical, including feats that involve crashing, flying or eating unusual objects. His enthusiasm is so intense that he treats almost any outrageous idea as a respectable theatrical performance.
Gonzo first appeared in the 1970 television special The Great Santa Claus Switch as a rough Frackle character. He was later developed for The Muppet Show by performer Dave Goelz and writer Jerry Juhl. His unusual design includes blue-purple fur, bulging eyes, purple feathers and a long hooked nose that is commonly described as a beak.
One continuing joke is that Gonzo's species is never fully settled. He has been portrayed or described as a Frackle, an extraterrestrial and an ambiguous avian creature. His romantic partner is Camilla the Chicken, and he later played Charles Dickens in The Muppet Christmas Carol. Gonzo's defining trait is not a conventional animal identity but his fearless commitment to spectacularly strange performance.
