Elena is the heroine cursed at the start of the Wii game Pandora’s Tower. The story follows her transformation and Aeron’s attempt to save her by gathering the flesh of monsters from a group of dangerous towers.
Elena is a singer from the kingdom of Elyria. During a festival, she becomes cursed after a creature’s attack, and the curse gradually changes her into a monster. Aeron, her companion, learns that the curse can be delayed or broken through a specific ritual involving the beasts inside the towers.
The player controls Aeron rather than Elena for most of the game. This makes the rescue mission the central gameplay and narrative structure. The relationship between the two characters also affects the game’s endings, adding a bond system alongside combat and exploration.
Elena’s name is unrelated to the ancient Pandora of Greek mythology. The game borrows Pandora imagery and themes of transformation, danger, and hope, but its characters, setting, and plot are original to the 2011 Wii title.
