What is the name of the game's mobile version released in 2022?

The mobile version released in 2022 was called Apex Legends Mobile. It was a touchscreen-focused adaptation of Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale shooter, released for iOS and Android on May 17, 2022.

Apex Legends Mobile was developed with Lightspeed and Quantum Studios, a Tencent subsidiary, and was designed separately from the main console and PC versions. It included familiar legends and gameplay while also adding mobile-exclusive content, including the legends Fade and Rhapsody. The mobile release therefore had its own progression, updates, and platform-specific features.

The game was not a permanent replacement for the main version of Apex Legends. Electronic Arts and Respawn announced its sunset in 2023, and the mobile service shut down on May 1, 2023. That closure does not change the answer: Apex Legends Mobile remains the official name of the 2022 mobile release.
