What is the name of the FBI investigation unit associated with the Blue Rose cases in Twin Peaks?

The FBI investigation unit associated with Blue Rose cases in Twin Peaks is the Blue Rose Task Force.

Blue Rose is a specialized FBI investigative group dealing with unusual, apparently supernatural or otherwise inexplicable cases. The mythology is connected to earlier investigations involving Agent Phillip Jeffries and later to Agent Dale Cooper, Albert Rosenfield, and Tammy Preston.

The phrase “Blue Rose” first became especially important in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, where it identifies a case that does not fit ordinary investigative explanations. Twin Peaks: The Return develops the idea further by showing the FBI treating these mysteries as a distinct area of inquiry.

The task force is not the same as the FBI’s ordinary field operations. That distinction matters because Twin Peaks often presents institutional investigation alongside paranormal events. Viewers may also confuse the Blue Rose designation with the Black Lodge, but the former is an FBI investigative concept, while the latter is a supernatural location in the series’ mythology.
