What is the name of the Dragon King of the East Sea?

The Dragon King of the East Sea is Ao Guang.

Ao Guang is one of the Four Dragon Kings in Chinese mythology, each associated with one of the directional seas. As ruler of the East Sea, he is linked with storms, tides, rain, and an underwater dragon palace. His name is also written Ao Kuang in some romanization systems and popular adaptations.

Ao Guang appears prominently in Ming-era literary traditions, especially Fengshen Yanyi and Journey to the West. In Journey to the West, Sun Wukong visits his palace and obtains the Ruyi Jingu Bang, the magical iron staff later known as the Monkey King's weapon. In the Nezha legends, Ao Guang becomes embroiled in a conflict after Nezha kills his son Ao Bing.

A common mix-up is confusing Ao Guang with the other directional Dragon Kings: Ao Qin rules the South Sea, Ao Run the West Sea, and Ao Shun the North Sea.
