What is the name of the Crystal Empire's royal guard captain?

The Crystal Empire’s royal guard captain is Shining Armor.

Shining Armor is a unicorn and the older brother of Twilight Sparkle. Before becoming a ruler of the Crystal Empire, he served as captain of the Canterlot Royal Guard. His defensive magic is especially important to his characterization, including the protective shield he creates with Princess Cadance during the changeling invasion.

Shining Armor becomes connected to the Crystal Empire after marrying Princess Cadance. In “The Crystal Empire,” he helps defend the city from King Sombra, but an injury to his horn prevents him from maintaining the protective force field. After the empire is saved, he takes his place beside Cadance as prince consort and later co-ruler.

“Guard” is not a character’s name, while Blueblood is a Canterlot prince with no royal-guard-captain role. Flash Sentry is a guard associated with later stories and the Equestria Girls setting, but he is not the Crystal Empire’s royal guard captain. Shining Armor is also the father of Flurry Heart.
