What is the name of the car in Final Fantasy XV?

The car in Final Fantasy XV is called the Regalia.

The Regalia is the signature vehicle of Noctis Lucis Caelum and his three companions: Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto. It belongs to the Lucian royal family and was originally associated with Noctis’s father, King Regis. At the beginning of the journey, the car provides the party’s main way to travel across the connected regions of Eos.

Players can drive the Regalia manually or let it follow routes automatically, and they must periodically refuel it at petrol stations. The vehicle can also be customized, giving it a prominent role in exploration rather than serving only as background scenery.

Several names can cause mix-ups. Regalia Type-F is a later flying upgrade, while Regalia Type-D is an off-road modification. Those are variants of the same royal car, not separate answers to the basic question. Chocobos are also transport options in the game, but they are giant recurring birds rather than the party’s car.
