What is the name of the beaver who helps the Pevensies?

The story behind the answer

The beaver who helps the Pevensies in Narnia is Mr. Beaver. He first meets Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy after they discover that Mr. Tumnus has been arrested by the White Witch’s secret police.

Mr. Beaver takes the children to his home near Beaversdam, where he and Mrs. Beaver provide food, shelter, and vital information. He explains that Aslan, the true ruler of Narnia, has returned and that the children are connected to an ancient prophecy. Mr. Beaver also recognizes that Edmund has secretly sided with the White Witch.

Although Mr. Beaver is usually the character named in this trivia question, Mrs. Beaver also helps the children and travels with them. That makes her a common source of confusion, but “Mr. Beaver” is the standard singular answer. The Beavers later guide the children toward the Stone Table and Aslan’s camp.
