Jacob Frye is the Assassin's Creed Syndicate protagonist who leads the Rooks gang.
Jacob and his twin sister Evie travel from Crawley to London in 1868, during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob forms the Rooks, a street gang allied with the Assassins, and uses them to challenge Templar control over London’s boroughs.
The player alternates between Jacob and Evie, who have different skill focuses and mission abilities. Jacob emphasizes direct combat and gang expansion, while Evie specializes more heavily in stealth and technological tools. Their partnership is central to the campaign, but Jacob is specifically the Rooks’ organizer and leader.
Henry Green, born Jayadeep Mir, is the London Brotherhood’s mentor and an important ally. Maxwell Roth is a criminal leader whom Jacob confronts, not the protagonist or Rooks commander.
