The Apex Legends season that introduced Crypto was Season 3: Meltdown.

Season 3: Meltdown began on October 1, 2019, and added Crypto as a new playable Legend. Crypto is a surveillance-focused character who uses his aerial drone to scout areas, reveal enemy positions, recover banners, and trigger his EMP ability against shields, traps, and other electronics.
