What is the name of the ancient kingdom of the Dúnedain in northern Middle-earth? Arnor. In Tolkien’s legendarium, Arnor is the northern kingdom founded by Elendil after the destruction of Númenor, while Gondor was established farther south by his sons Isildur and Anárion.
