Answer
Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!
The name of the 2015 Scooby-Doo reboot series is “Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!”
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the series follows Mystery Inc. during the gang’s last summer break together. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby travel in the Mystery Machine while encountering the familiar monsters, ghosts, and hoaxes of the franchise.
Although it is a reboot, the show deliberately draws on traits from the original 1969 series. Its character designs are heavily redesigned, and its tone is more comedic and slapstick than the preceding series, “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.” The show also removes much of that earlier incarnation’s romantic serialization in favor of standalone comic adventures.
“Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!” premiered in the United States on Cartoon Network on October 5, 2015. It ultimately ran for two seasons and 52 episodes, with later episodes released through Boomerang. A common mix-up is choosing “What’s New, Scooby-Doo?”—a 2002 series—or “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated,” which premiered in 2010; neither is the 2015 reboot.
