What is the name of Sagat's signature projectile attack?
Answer
Tiger Shot
Answer
Tiger Shot
Sagat’s signature projectile attack is the “Tiger Shot,” a long-range blast of energy fired from his hands. It is one of the defining moves of Street Fighter’s original Muay Thai champion.
Sagat first appeared as the final boss of the original Street Fighter in 1987 and returned in Street Fighter II as one of Shadaloo’s four powerful enforcers. His tall frame and strong zoning game make the Tiger Shot especially important: players use it to control distance, pressure opponents, and force them to jump or approach carefully.
Sagat can also perform a high Tiger Shot and a low Tiger Shot in many versions of the series. The high version travels through the air, while the low version moves along the ground. That distinction is why the move is sometimes confused with other famous projectiles, such as Ryu’s Hadouken, Guile’s Sonic Boom, or Dhalsim’s Yoga Fire. Those belong to different characters; Tiger Shot is Sagat’s canonical projectile.
