Hiccup’s dragon in Dragons: Race to the Edge is Toothless.
Toothless is a Night Fury who becomes Hiccup’s closest companion after Hiccup frees him from a trap. Their relationship is the emotional center of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, including the television series.
Dragons: Race to the Edge ran for six seasons from 2015 to 2018. It takes place between the second and third feature films and expands the characters’ adventures beyond Berk. Hiccup and Toothless explore new islands, encounter unfamiliar dragon species, and face several new threats.
Toothless is sometimes confused with other dragons in the Riders of Berk group. Stormfly belongs to Astrid, Hookfang belongs to Snotlout, and Cloudjumper is associated with Valka.
