What is the name of Ezio Auditore's uncle in Assassin's Creed II?

Ezio Auditore's uncle in Assassin's Creed II is Mario Auditore.

Mario is the lord of Monteriggioni and the head of the Auditore family's branch there. After Ezio's family is targeted in Florence, Mario helps him escape and introduces him to the larger conflict between the Assassins and the Templars.

He also serves as an important mentor. Mario trains Ezio in combat and supports the renovation of Villa Auditore, which becomes a strategic home base during the game. His role connects Ezio's personal family story with the long-running Assassin tradition.

Federico and Petruccio are Ezio's brothers, not his uncles. Lorenzo de' Medici is a powerful Florentine statesman who becomes an ally, but he is unrelated to the Auditore family. Mario's position in Monteriggioni is another reason players may remember him as a political leader as well as a relative.
