What is the name of Diablo II’s expansion pack released in 2001?
Answer
Lord of Destruction
Answer
Lord of Destruction
Diablo II’s 2001 expansion pack is titled Lord of Destruction.
Blizzard North developed Lord of Destruction as a major expansion for Diablo II. It added Act V, which continues the campaign after the original game’s final act and takes the player to the snowy lands around Mount Arreat.
The expansion introduced two playable classes: the Assassin and the Druid. It also added new skills, items, runes, item types, hireling improvements, and the ability to equip weapons in both hands through expanded character equipment options.
Lord of Destruction is often confused with Reaper of Souls, which is Diablo III’s expansion, or Vessel of Hatred, which expands Diablo IV. Its story focuses on Baal, the Lord of Destruction, and his assault on the barbarian homeland.
