What is the name of America250’s national volunteering initiative?

America Gives is the name of America250’s national volunteering initiative.

America Gives is planned as a nationwide effort encouraging people to volunteer in connection with the United States Semiquincentennial. It is one of the public-service programs associated with the anniversary rather than a single parade, exhibition, or commemorative object.

The initiative is paired with other America250 programming, including America’s Field Trip, which asks students to express what America means to them. Together, these programs frame the anniversary as a civic observance as well as a historical commemoration.

America Gives should not be confused with Freedom 250, a separate White House-linked branding and event effort. The names sound similar because both are connected to 2026 celebrations, but they refer to different organizations or programs.
