What is the highest-rank rune in Diablo II?

Zod is the highest-rank rune in Diablo II.

The original Diablo II contains 33 runes, and Zod is rune number 33 in the game's progression. Runes can be inserted into socketed items to provide their individual effects, while particular ordered combinations create powerful runewords. Zod is especially notable because it makes an item indestructible when inserted by itself.

Its rarity and position at the top of the rune list have made Zod one of the game's best-known high runes. It also appears in several runewords, including Breath of the Dying.

Players sometimes confuse the strongest or most valuable rune in a particular trading environment with the highest-numbered rune. Those are not always the same claim. This question concerns Diablo II's fixed rune ranking, where Zod is the final entry.
