Stephen Curry’s career-high point total in a single game is 62 points.
Curry scored 62 points for the Golden State Warriors against the Portland Trail Blazers on January 3, 2021, in a 137–122 victory. The performance surpassed his previous NBA career high of 54 points, which he recorded against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in 2013.
Curry made 18 of 31 field-goal attempts, including 8 of 16 three-point attempts, and converted 18 of 19 free throws. His 62 points were the highest single-game total of his career and came during his 12th NBA season. The game also illustrated how his scoring combines long-range shooting with movement, drives and free throws.
The number is sometimes confused with Curry’s other major scoring performances. He scored 60 points against the Atlanta Hawks in February 2024, while his famous 2016 overtime game against Oklahoma City produced 46 points, including a game-winning three-pointer. The 62-point mark refers to a regular-season game and remains his recognized NBA single-game career high.
