Saturn's average distance from the Sun is about 9.58 astronomical units (AU). One AU is the average Earth–Sun distance, so Saturn orbits nearly ten times farther from the Sun than Earth does.

Because Saturn follows an elliptical rather than perfectly circular orbit, its distance changes during each revolution.
