What Generation VII Pokemon is known as the Roly-Poly Pokemon?

The story behind the answer

Togedemaru is the Generation VII Pokémon known as the Roly-Poly Pokémon.

Togedemaru is Pokémon number 777 in the National Pokédex and was introduced in "Pokémon Sun" and "Moon," the games that launched Generation VII in 2016. It is an Electric/Steel-type Pokémon from the Alola region. Its rounded body and ability to curl into a ball explain the Roly-Poly classification.

The spikes along Togedemaru's back are more than decoration. It can raise them when threatened and roll itself into a defensive ball. Its long back hairs also help it draw in electricity from other Pokémon, which it stores in an electric sac. Togedemaru does not evolve, a detail that can cause confusion with other small, round Electric-type Pokémon such as Pikachu, Pachirisu, or Dedenne.
