What Disney Channel movie was based on Erica and Courtney Enders?

The story behind the answer

Right on Track was the Disney Channel movie based on sisters Erica and Courtney Enders.

Released in 2003, Right on Track is a biographical sports drama inspired by the sisters’ real childhood careers in junior drag racing. The story follows them as they compete in a male-dominated sport, face skepticism from other racers, and pursue success while balancing school and family pressures.

The film debuted on Disney Channel on March 21, 2003. Beverley Mitchell played Erica Enders, while Brie Larson portrayed Courtney Enders. The real sisters also contributed as driving and stunt doubles, adding an unusual connection between the movie and the racers whose story it dramatized.

The title can be confused with Heart Like a Wheel, the 1983 film about Shirley Muldowney. Erica Enders later became a major NHRA Pro Stock star, winning her first Pro Stock championship in 2014 and becoming the first woman to win an NHRA Pro Stock event in 2012.
