What color is the ghost Inky?

What color is the ghost Inky? Inky is cyan.

Inky is one of the four ghosts in the original 1980 Pac-Man arcade game. His bright cyan color distinguishes him from Blinky, the red ghost; Pinky, the pink ghost; and Clyde, the orange ghost. The color system makes it easier for players to recognize each pursuer instantly while navigating the maze.

Inky is not simply a blue version of another ghost. His movement logic is more complex than Blinky's direct pursuit. In the original game, Inky's target is calculated using Pac-Man's position and Blinky's position, producing behavior that can seem unpredictable. This makes Inky especially dangerous when Pac-Man is being pressured from multiple directions.

A common mix-up comes from the fact that frightened ghosts turn blue after Pac-Man eats a Power Pellet. That temporary blue appearance is not Inky's normal color. Inky remains cyan during ordinary play, while all four ghosts can share a frightened blue appearance for a limited time. When the effect ends, they return to their individual colors and resume hunting Pac-Man.

The name Inky also appears in later games and adaptations, sometimes with modified behavior or artwork, but cyan remains his signature color in the original lineup.
