What city is Starbucks Corporation’s global headquarters in?

Starbucks Corporation’s global headquarters is in Seattle, Washington.

Seattle is central to the company’s identity: the first Starbucks store opened at Pike Place Market in 1971, and the company grew from its original coffee-bean business in the city. Starbucks later developed a large headquarters campus known as the Starbucks Center in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood.

The headquarters should not be confused with the original Pike Place Market store or with Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in other cities. The market location is historically important, but corporate leadership, administrative functions, and many support operations are associated with the company’s Seattle headquarters.
