What city is Splatoon 3's main hub world?

Splatsville is the main hub world of Splatoon 3.

The city is located in the Splatlands, a sun-scorched region introduced in the third game. It is known in-universe as the “city of chaos,” reflecting the winning side of Splatoon 2’s Chaos vs. Order Splatfest. Its crowded streets, elevated rail lines, shops, apartments, and towering battle lobby give it a rougher, busier feel than earlier hubs.

The most common mix-up is with Inkopolis Plaza and Inkopolis Square. Inkopolis Plaza served as the original Splatoon hub, while Inkopolis Square was the central city in Splatoon 2. Splatoon 3 later allows players to visit those older locations through expansion content, but Splatsville remains the game’s primary home base. Deep Cut—Shiver, Frye, and Big Man—also broadcasts from the city.
