What celebrity in 2017 drove her Porsche into a ditch in Thousand Oaks, California?

Heather Locklear was the celebrity who drove her Porsche into a ditch in Thousand Oaks, California, in 2017. The single-vehicle crash occurred on September 14, shortly before 6 p.m., near Country Valley Road.

Locklear was 55 at the time and was taken to Los Robles Hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries. Reports described the vehicle as a gray Porsche Carrera 4S. The car left the roadway and went down a ditch several feet deep, but no other vehicle or person was involved.

Locklear was already a familiar television star, known for roles in Dynasty, T.J. Hooker, and Melrose Place. The incident also generated confusion because of her later legal and personal troubles. However, authorities said drugs and alcohol were not factors in this particular 2017 crash, and she was not cited. She later posted that she was home and doing well.
