The name of the R&B group SWV stands for which three words?

The name of the R&B group SWV stands for Sisters with Voices.

SWV is an American vocal trio formed in New York City in 1988 by Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Tamara “Taj” George, and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons. The group originally began as a gospel act before moving into contemporary R&B and hip-hop soul. Their initials are an abbreviation of “Sisters with Voices,” not “Sistas with Voices.”

SWV became one of the leading female R&B groups of the 1990s. Their 1992 debut album, It’s About Time, produced hits including “Weak,” “Right Here,” and “I’m So into You.” “Weak” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group split in 1998, reunited in 2005, and continued recording and performing together.
