The Da Nang International Airport is in which country?
Answer
Vietnam
Answer
Vietnam
The Da Nang International Airport is in Vietnam.
It serves Da Nang, a major coastal city in central Vietnam and one of the country’s most important tourist destinations. The airport’s Vietnamese name is Sân bay quốc tế Đà Nẵng, and its IATA code is DAD.
Da Nang International Airport has both civilian and military significance. It developed from a wartime airfield and today is operated by Airports Corporation of Vietnam. It is a major hub for domestic flights linking central Vietnam with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as international routes across Asia.
A common mix-up is confusing Da Nang with the country’s other major international gateways: Noi Bai International Airport serves Hanoi, while Tan Son Nhat International Airport serves Ho Chi Minh City. Da Nang is also a convenient gateway to Hoi An, a UNESCO-listed historic town south of the airport, and the ancient imperial city of Hue.
