The Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan came from what college?
Answer
Boston College
Answer
Boston College
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan came from Boston College. He played college football for the Boston College Eagles from 2003 through 2007 before entering the NFL Draft.
Ryan became Boston College’s starting quarterback as a sophomore and developed into one of the most accomplished players in school history. In 2007, he led the Eagles to an 11–3 record and an Atlantic Coast Conference division title, earning the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and ACC Player of the Year honors.
The Falcons selected Ryan third overall in the 2008 NFL Draft. He made an immediate impact in Atlanta and won the 2016 NFL Most Valuable Player award after leading the Falcons to Super Bowl LI. The answer is sometimes confused with his high school, William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, but Boston College is the college he attended and played for.
