Answer
Minnesota Timberwolves
Answer
Minnesota Timberwolves
Kevin Love spent the first six years of his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota selected him with the fifth pick in the 2008 NBA draft after his freshman season at UCLA.
Love initially played a supporting role, but he developed into one of the league’s premier rebounders and stretch big men. In the 2010–11 season, he averaged 20.2 points and 15.2 rebounds per game, won the NBA Most Improved Player award and led the league in rebounding.
He made three All-Star teams while with Minnesota and became the franchise’s central star after Al Jefferson was traded. Love’s final Timberwolves season was 2013–14, when he averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
In August 2014, Minnesota traded him to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he later won a championship alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
