On what date was StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void released?

The story behind the answer

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void was released on 10 November 2015.

Legacy of the Void is the third and final major installment in the StarCraft II trilogy. It follows Wings of Liberty, released in 2010, and Heart of the Swarm, released in 2013. The campaign centers on Artanis and the Protoss as they attempt to reclaim Aiur and confront threats affecting the wider sector.

The game completed the three-part StarCraft II narrative while also adding new multiplayer units, maps, and features. Its release marked the point at which each of the three playable races had received a principal single-player campaign in the trilogy.

The date is sometimes confused with the release dates of the earlier StarCraft II chapters. Wings of Liberty launched on 27 July 2010, while Heart of the Swarm launched on 12 March 2013. Legacy of the Void followed more than two years later.
