On what date did the 2026 Cincinnati Open’s main tournament begin?

The 2026 Cincinnati Open’s main tournament began on August 13, 2026.

The event ran through August 23, with both singles finals scheduled for the closing Sunday. Qualifying activity began earlier, on August 11, which is why some schedules list an earlier date for the overall tournament operation.

The 2026 edition was notable for moving the singles finals to Sunday. Previous Cincinnati editions had commonly staged their singles championships on Monday, so the closing-day arrangement changed the event’s calendar structure.

The tournament was held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. It combined the ATP Masters 1000 men’s event and the WTA 1000 women’s event on outdoor hard courts.
