On "Seinfeld", what did Kramer name his rooster?

The story behind the answer

On Seinfeld, Kramer named his rooster Little Jerry Seinfeld.

The name appears in “The Little Jerry,” the eleventh episode of Seinfeld's eighth season, which originally aired on January 9, 1997. Kramer buys what he thinks is a hen so he can collect eggs, but Jerry identifies the bird as a rooster. By then, Kramer has already given it the name Little Jerry Seinfeld.

The rooster quickly becomes part of one of Kramer's most chaotic schemes. After seeing Little Jerry defeat a small dog, the bodega owner Marcelino persuades Kramer to enter the bird in a cockfight. Little Jerry wins, and Marcelino later tries to obtain him and manipulate the result of another fight.

The episode is remembered for its absurd subplot, but it also includes stories about George dating an inmate and Elaine's boyfriend discovering that he is going bald. Viewers sometimes shorten the rooster's name to “Little Jerry,” but the full name used in the show is Little Jerry Seinfeld. The character's name also inspired a real chicken's name in a 2006 New York Mets clubhouse incident.
