On Friends, the Victoria’s Secret model trapped with Chandler in an ATM vestibule during the blackout was Jill Goodacre.
Goodacre appeared as herself in “The One with the Blackout,” the seventh episode of Friends’ first season. When New York loses power, Chandler Bing becomes stuck inside a bank’s ATM vestibule with the model he recognizes from Victoria’s Secret advertisements. His nervous attempts to impress her become the episode’s central comic subplot.
Chandler initially struggles to speak normally, then embarrasses himself over a piece of chewing gum. After he begins choking, Jill performs the Heimlich maneuver and saves him. The two eventually relax, play games, and part on friendly terms when the power returns. Chandler then asks the bank security camera for a copy of the footage.
The episode aired on November 3, 1994, and is also notable for helping popularize the show’s “friend zone” idea through Ross and Rachel’s storyline. Goodacre was credited as herself, although later references may use her married name, Jill Connick.
