Kiri was born from whose inert Na'vi avatar in Avatar: Fire and Ash?

The story behind the answer

Kiri was born from the inert Na'vi avatar of Dr. Grace Augustine in Avatar: Fire and Ash.

Grace Augustine was the human xenobotanist who headed the Avatar program in the first film. Although Grace died after being mortally wounded, her consciousness could not be permanently transferred into her avatar. The avatar body remained behind, and Kiri later emerged from it under mysterious circumstances.

Kiri is not presented as the biological daughter of one of the film's conventional couples. She has no known biological father and is closely connected to Grace's avatar, while Jake Sully and Neytiri raise her as an adopted daughter. That unusual origin is central to Kiri's identity and to the mystery surrounding her extraordinary connection with Eywa.

The wording can cause confusion because Sigourney Weaver played Grace in the first Avatar and Kiri in later films. They are different characters, despite being portrayed by the same actor. The other options are human RDA or scientific figures and are not connected to Kiri's birth.
